Innovation Line Expands Into Canada

Innovation Line (asi/62660) is poised to grow its business north of the border. The Los Angeles-based supplier has announced a new alliance with Penpal Group, a Canadian marketing and consulting firm that represents promotional product suppliers in Canada. The partnership will facilitate Innovation Line’s entry into the Canadian advertising specialty market, a move the quickly growing company expects to stimulate sales growth.

“We are excited to be partnering with an experienced, recognized organization in Canada that understands the needs of Canadian distributors,” said David Kagel, Innovation Line’s chief operating officer. “With over 30 years of experience manufacturing and representing leading ASI suppliers, we know we have selected the best partner in Nabil Nusair, president and owner of Penpal.”

As part of the entry into Canada, Innovation Line is launching a Canadian catalog this week at the Promotional Product Professionals of Canada’s National Convention this week. Innovation Line is also developing a Canada-specific website. All prices in the catalog and on the website will be in Canadian dollars. Products ship from Toronto.

“We offer a complete line of NAFTA products that minimize duties and tariffs, unique patented products, weekly specials and more, including random samples that ship same-day from our Toronto office,” said Kagel.

Established in 1985, Innovation Line was recognized by Counselor as one of the advertising specialty industry’s fastest-growing suppliers in 2014 and 2015. Founded as a supplier of writing instruments in 1969, Penpal has evolved into a marketing and consulting company that helps suppliers grow market share in Canada.
