HPG Appoints Director of National Accounts

Nick Lateur will be in charge of the Top 40 supplier’s specialty channel, leading efforts for its Batch & Bodega and HandStands brands.

Top 40 supplier HPG (asi/61966) in Braintree, MA, welcomes Nick Lateur as director of national accounts for HPG’s specialty channel, currently comprised of the Batch & Bodega and HandStands brands. Lateur has experience in national sales at Top 40 supplier IMAGEN Brands (asi/93990) in Mason, OH, and AP Specialties (asi/30208) in San Clemente, CA.

“We are very excited to have Nick Lateur join our incredible sales team,” said Trina Bicknell, HPG’s senior vice president of sales, in a statement. “Nick has awesome experience in the industry, provides fantastic energy and has a really unique talent to connect with his customers. He will make a great addition to the HPG sales team.”

Lateur’s YouTube channel, MONDAYS with Nick, features Lateur putting a fun spin on industry products, which he will continue to develop in his new role. “HPG is an innovative and progressive group that continually pushes the limits of advertising specialties,” said Lateur in a statement. “HandStands and Batch & Bodega uniquely embody the creative spirit that is essential to effective marketing. I am honored and excited to be joining such a special team.”

In August, HPG launched the Batch & Bodega food gift line, which combines snacks from small-batch artisan brands with HPG hard goods. HandStands, acquired by HPG in January 2019, specializes in tech accessories and lifestyle products.

With 2019 promotional products revenue of $205.7 million, HPG ranked ninth on Counselor’s most recent ranking of the 40 largest suppliers in the industry.
