Top 40 supplier Hit Promotional Products (asi/61125) announced on the afternoon of Wednesday, Dec. 16 that it would be closed for the rest of the day, due to a tornado.

Any orders currently in production will not ship on Wednesday. “The safety of our employees and community is our top priority,” Hit noted in a statement. “We will advise of further details as we assess each location and deem it safe for our employees to return.”

The company says it will update customers on social media and its website (hitpromo.net) on any further disruptions to production or ship dates.

Hit is headquartered in Largo, FL. A tornado in the area on Wednesday afternoon caused damage and left thousands without power, the Tampa Bay Times reported.
