Massachusetts-based distributor Proforma Marcom Solutions (asi/300094) announced this week that it has acquired Eastern Advertising Novelty. Financial terms of the deal were not released, but the combined organization will now operate as Eastern Advertising Novelty powered by Proforma.
Brian Kwiatkowski, owner of Proforma Marcom Solutions, said the deal will help to more than triple his company’s sales next year. Founded in 1947, Eastern Advertising Novelty now expects to be able to significantly expand its marketing offerings to include multimedia services, eCommerce websites, commercial printing, mobile marketing and more. The company says that its core team members will remain on staff following the deal with Proforma.
“Our focus is on providing the best marketing solutions for our customers,” said Stephen Dinoia, owner of Eastern Advertising Novelty. “Proforma Marcom Solutions acquiring Eastern Advertising Novelty will further our mission by equipping us to deliver additional resources and new levels of services that will help our clients achieve their business goals.”
Proforma ranks as the second-largest distributor on the Counselor Top 40, after reporting 2013 North American ad specialty sales of $348 million, a 7.9% increase over the previous year.
