Dunbar, WV-based distributor Artistic Promotions (asi/125341) has acquired Branded Solutions of Pittsburgh, PA, the companies have announced. Financial terms of the agreement were not released. Going forward, the combined companies will operate under the name AP Branded Solutions.

Ryan Westerman, president of Artistic Promotions, said his team is excited to partner with Branded Solutions. He added that he’s known and respected Branded Solution’s president Dan Weisberg for many years. “He and his team bring a wealth of knowledge, sales acumen and expertise that is unparalleled,” Westerman said. “We believe our technology platform and approach will only enhance their success, and we look forward to a bright future with the entire team.”

Weisberg, who has been in the ad specialty industry for 35 years, said he wanted to energize his company by teaming up with “an innovative and progressive partner.” Weisberg will join AP, taking on the role of vice president of sales. Westerman will continue his role as president of the combined organization.

Artistic Promotions and Branded Solutions will maintain sales offices in Dunbar and Pittsburgh – with a collective staff of 16. “This is a great step toward continuing to grow our organization,” Westerman said.
