Keeping you in the loop on products and deals you may not have heard about.
April 13, 2011
Hello everybody! I'm not really here again, which is why my trusty sidekick Jen Vishnevsky is charged with proofing this for me; she is the Shirley to my Laverne, or the Lenny to my Squiggy, for that matter (thanks, Jen!). I'm packing up and getting ready to jet off to the Cayman Islands (I know, I'm really excited)! I hope your sales take off too. Here are some ideas. Enjoy this edition and send your feedback directly to: email@example.com. It may be published in a future issue of Advantages magazine. The Naked Truth The Pitch: Why does every pregnant celebrity these days feel it's in our best interest to see them posing naked in all their big-bellied glory on the cover of a magazine? Right now, I'm talking to you, Mariah. Perhaps it's that they don't have a nice comfy robe like the hooded, fleece, 48” robe from Towel Specialties (asi/91605).One size fits most (I'm guessing even Mariah), and pricing starts at: 36; $38.50-R. Check it out: http://towelspecialties.com/. The Bottom Line: Cover up, please.
Wine & Flowers The Pitch: Wine makes everything seem more beautiful (at least it does for me), and even more so with this eco-friendly, seed-paper, wine-necker bottle tag. After the wine is finished, plant the tag and grow a garden of wildflowers. This is a unique idea for restaurants, B&B's, vineyards and more. Pricing starts at: 100; $1.84-P. See it here: http://bloominpromotions.com. The Bottom Line: Tag along.
Hey, Stud (ette) The Pitch: If your clients are into leather, Berney-Karp Inc. (asi/40261) has got the travel mug for you. The14-oz. Stud-ette stainless-steel travel mug with real leather and steel studs is pretty rockin', I must say. Definitely what any bachelorette party needs as a party favor. These are also fun for rock concerts and ladies' nights. Pricing starts at: 72; $12.99-R. Click here and search for item #62-629: www.thesource4drinkware.com. The Bottom Line: Tough chic.
It's a Zoo The Pitch: I'll be in San Diego for The ASI Show, so if you're there, hunt me down and we'll have a fun chat. Anyway, I remember visiting the zoo there a long time ago and it was very cool indeed. If you're going to be there, you should make some time to visit. So, I was thinking, zoo business will be heating up now that the warmer weather is here across the country. Souvenir shops are going to be stocking up on promotional items and a cute idea is item JK-3710, from Jornik Manufacturing (asi/63549). The Puffer Penguin toy is soft to the touch, squeezable, and sweet smelling. Oh and by the way, I recently found out that penguins are dinosaurs; at least that's what the paleontologist on PBS said. Pricing starts at: 100; $4.50-R. See it here: http://jornik.com/node/1261. And you can also click on this video to see all three Puffer Pets (they also have a dog and a bear) in action: http://www.mypromosaver.com/vsv.asp?VideoID=946. The Bottom Line: This is for the birds.
