One Way or Another: Printed Leggings

When it comes to innovative patterns and prints, it would be hard not to think of leggings. Originally sold in black and assorted solid hues, leggings are now available in countless designs, from sultry animal patterns to high-contrast comic-strip prints. This demure pair, tastefully designed by Alternative Apparel (asi/34850; circle 76 on Free Info Card), presents a somewhat subdued pattern that's immensely work-friendly yet playful at the same time. Made of a comfy spandex-jersey knit, these leggings (07004H7) are available in other designs too, including Redwood Plaid and Black Conversational Peach, and make for an attractive match with skirts of any length.

Decoration Tip :
Nostalgia for the '90s is in full force, and T Productions used the large printable area of the T-shirt dress to create a bold retro design. "We came up with a seasonal design that brings back fond memories of the early '90s," says Graphic Designer Scott Boehner, "by using two contrasting, classic fonts and three imprint colors that played well with the garment color."
