Cintas Releases Green Apparel Line

Cintas Corp. (asi/162167) introduced a plant-based apparel collection to help organizations go green. The AR Red Suiting Collection, a collaboration with Austin Reed, is made with DuPont Sorona renewably sourced fiber. As much as 63% fewer carbon dioxide emissions are released during the manufacturing process.

“Cintas is committed to identifying sustainable options that not only lessen the impact of our manufacturing processes, but also allow our customers to reduce their environmental footprint,” says Melanie Boyle, manager of sustainability for Cintas. Garments in the collection include the Grafton blazer, Celeste blazer, Kensington modern slacks and Devoe skirt for women, and Lenox blazer and Crosby pants for men. The blazers are fully lined with breathable AEROCOOL technology to keep wearers comfortable and also feature multiple inside pockets for added functionality. The collection is offered in a full range of sizes, including petite.
