As the senior manager of key accounts for Prime Line (asi/79530), Gregg Szpicek is often described as the “go-to guy” at the CT-based supplier. His primary responsibility is to increase sales revenue on national accounts. “My focus is always to maintain an aggressive approach to servicing our clients with fast responses, honesty and attention to detail,” Szpicek says.

Recently, he’s had great success identifying markets and carving out product campaigns that have already shown an increase in sales. “The name of the game is making sure clients have what they need,” he says.

On why he’s thought of as being a client “go to” for any situation, it’s simple: It comes down to trust. “Distributors have so many choices they can call on, so to be that trusted source is gratifying for me because I know I’m able help our clients find solutions across the board,” Szpicek says. “Also, I’m a believer in practicing what you preach.”

Something else about Szpicek: he gets a kick out of seeing promo products in action. “I love it when I travel and find a product that meets the needs of our clients,” he says. “For example, when I was at the airport in Chicago, the Delta agent behind the counter was using a MopTopper Pen and said she loves using it. It’s so satisfying to see excited reactions from the end-user.”
