One of the most effective ways to increase your sales is to expand an existing client relationship. There are multiple prospecting paths to find new buyers within the organization. You can develop programs that cross departments, branches and headquarters. Examples would be a company milestone or rebranding effort, which require consistency throughout the organization.
Also, ask current clients who they know that could benefit from your services. Find out their top three suppliers and top three customers. Going two or three degrees away from clients can generate similar additional accounts.
Finally, consider branching out within your area of expertise. What businesses within the industry you serve could become clients? For example, if you specialize in real estate promotions, consider mortgage companies a worthwhile target.
