4imprint Group Posts 14% Sales Gain

England-based 4imprint Group, the parent company of Counselor Top 40 distributor 4imprint (asi/197045), has announced its sales for the six months ended June 29 increased by 14% to 100.8 million pounds ($153.7 million). North American revenues – the strength of the company – rose by 13%. "We're pleased with the results," said Kevin Lyons-Tarr, president of 4imprint. "The team continues to innovate and identify new opportunities to deliver further growth in line with our strategy."
In its reporting, 4imprint Group also announced pre-tax profits grew by 67% to 3.61 million pounds ($5.5 million) during the last two quarters. "The first half of 2013 has been another period of growth for the group with profit ahead of the board's expectations," said John Poulter, 4imprint's chairman, in a statement. "The balance sheet, with net cash, remains strong. The group continues to take advantage of the growth opportunities presented by 4imprint Direct Marketing's large and highly fragmented markets. Following the strong first half results, the board expects a good performance for the year as a whole."
Wisconsin-based 4imprint is ranked by Counselor as the fifth largest distributor in the industry, reporting 2012 North American ad specialty revenues of $256.5 million, a 14.3% year-over-year increase.
