SGR Magazine Announces Supplier Sales Reps Of The Year

Bodek And Rhodes' Marc Seiler Garners Award

Marc SeilerASI's Supplier Global Resource (SGR) magazine recently held its third annual Supplier Sales Rep of the Year contest and has announced its winners, based on votes from industry distributors. Taking the title of Supplier Sales Rep of the Year for 2012 is Marc Seiler, national account manager for Counselor Top 40 supplier Bodek and Rhodes (asi/40788), who garnered an overwhelming number of distributor nominations. Megan Erber, Regional Sales Director/Mid Atlantic forJetline (asi/63344), was named First Runner Up and Michelle Gulli, western regional sales manager for American Ad Bag (asi/35290), was named Second Runner-Up.

One of the nearly 500 distributors who sent in nominations, Gail Deutchman of Distinctive Promotions NY, a distributor firm affiliated with Counselor Top 40 company iPROMOTEu, says of Seiler: "In the past 25 years, I've never seen anyone go above and beyond for his customers like Marc does. I send out an e-mail in the evening thinking a reply will come in the morning, and there's a detailed e-mail helping me make the sale a few minutes later. He's truly a professional and does whatever it takes to make things happen. I wish many of the other suppliers had Marc's clone. He is first rate and I'm elated he is my inside person at Bodek and Rhodes. I generally send orders in a few times a week and when I need assistance, he is right on it. There's no one of his caliber that I have come across in 25 years."

Regarding Jetline's Erber, Charity Gibson, CEO of Green Banana Promotions, says: "I can text, e-mail, Facebook message, send smoke signals ... whatever, and she gets back to me with whatever I need right away. Not only that, if she doesn't have it she sends me in the right direction. Meg is always willing to lend her expertise and wisdom, and I love that her experience has spanned both the supplier and distributor side of the industry. This knowledge helps her to understand where I am coming from as distributor and explain to me how I can be better and more helpful to not only my clients, but my suppliers too."

And Michelle Gulli, who's been with American Ad Bag for only two years, has clearly made an impact with her clients. "We're a small mom and pop distributorship in Arizona, and we met Michelle in person on two occasions -- each time she treats us as if we were the most valuable clients she has," says Beverly Mueller, co-owner of S& B Printers, with her husband, Steve. "Recently we asked her for a sample of a special new bag that she showed at the AzPPA EXPO in Phoenix. She not only got the message to the proper mailing department, but she also arranged for us to pick-up some samples in the Glendale plant. When we arrived they knew who we were and what we wanted – we were honored by that. Michelle is a person who not only knows how important relationships are in business, but also does what she says she will do."
