Geoffrey Southern, vice president of operations and an owner of Montgomery, AL-based LogoBranders (asi/255496), died on April 3. He was 53.
Southern, who was a passionate traveler and avid photographer, founded LogoBranders with his wife, Terry, and together they built it from the ground up. The company, which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, is now one of the larger distributors in the southeast, as it employs more than 40 people. "The impact he had on the lives of the people around him was immeasurable," the company said in a statement about Southern. "Words cannot describe how much he was loved or how much he will be missed."
In addition to his wife, Southern is survived by his three children, Lee Southern (Hall), Justin Southern, and Amanda Southern, as well as his mother, Carolyn Southern, sister, Jacquelyn Southern, brother, Derek Southern, and grandchildren, Nathaniel Hall, Kloei Brown, and Jack Southern.
