Why People Love to Work Here: “When you are employed with Numo, you become part of a family. We all strive to help each other when and where we can. Management cares and supports employees on all levels. Our open-door policy coupled with our transparency policy we have adopted with our employees has really opened the door for better communication and ideas among all of our Numonians.”

Perks and Benefits: “Numo offers the normal benefits: health insurance, vision, dental, life, supplemental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) match plan. But it is the perks that we choose to offer that really make our company stand out from other employers in the area. We have a nurse practitioner that comes in two times a week that all employees and their immediate family can access free of charge. A fitness instructor is here three days a week to help get our employees’ hearts pumping. Health screenings with on-the-spot results and flu shots are available once a year. Telecommuting is also available for some of our employees.”

Recent Culture Initiatives: “We started hosting quarterly lunch-and-learns, where all employees are welcome to come and listen to the new things going on with our company. We also encourage our employees to use this time to ask any questions or bring up concerns that they may have, all while enjoying their pizza luncheon. Since these started, our employees feel more knowledgeable about the direction the company is going and the types of products we plan to offer. These meetings have also helped employees feel more comfortable approaching management with any ideas, questions or comments. The Numonian communication lines have improved drastically.” – Jessica Weidler, HR assistant
