Company Culture: “Concord’s owners, Kirk Graves and Robert Conte, have worked very hard to create a family-like culture, even as our company continues to grow. Employee retention is high because of this. Concord feels like a second family to our employees. They believe in following the Golden Rule, which is to treat others the same way you would like to be treated. Everyone is treated the same, regardless of their position in the company. Kirk and Robert do a great job getting to know everyone here and have also been known to help employees with personal struggles or circumstances. They truly care about all of the employees.”

Perks and Benefits: “Concord offers a variety of perks and benefits to its employees. Some of these benefits include direct deposit, paid holidays, health insurance coverage, HSA account, Simple IRA with company match and a generous PTO plan. However, probably the most compelling benefit is not found in the employee handbook. After years of working here, there is also a gained trust related to flexibility of schedule. There are times when you needed to work from home because of sick child or other personal reasons. There are also times when you needed to come into the office late, or leave early due to personal circumstances. There is a trust that has been built over the years that employees will do everything necessary to complete their job responsibilities within a flexible schedule that also allows them to take care of any personal responsibilities as well.”

Recent Culture Initiatives: “At last year’s holiday party, our CEO Kirk Graves went around the room and recognized each and every single employee. Without any notes, he acknowledged every employee by name and added a unique contribution or quality that employee adds to the company. He recognized almost 70 people that night, and appreciated their influence in making Concord the best company to work for. The moment was so impactful for so many employees.” – Emily Roskens, marketing analyst
