1. Q: Is there a way to change my password and user information for ESP Online?

A: You can easily change your user information and password in ESP Online. Once you are logged in, click on the Edit menu and select Preferences. Click on the “Edit User Info” tab in Preferences. On the “Edit User Info” tab, click on the “Edit User Info” button to launch a web page where you can update your user information and your password. Make sure you save your changes. When you return to ESP Online, click on the “Refresh User Info” button to update the information in ESP Online. To change your company name in ESP Online, click on the Edit menu and select Preferences. Click on the “Edit User Info” tab in Preferences. On the “Edit User Info” tab, type in the company name you want to show up in the “Custom Company Information” box. Click OK to save your changes.

2. Q: Is there a way to arrange the products in a certain order, i.e. price?

A: ESP Online allows you to sort products by ASI #, list price, net cost, profitability, category, supplier rating, and category.

3. Q: How do I hide Supplier Information in ESP Online?

A: Supplier information can be hidden in ESP Online by going to the Edit menu and selecting Preferences. On the View tab, there is a “Show Supplier Information” selection. Click the radio button next to No to hide basic supplier information. If you want to hide ASI# and Line Name as well, click in the check box on the right of “No”. Supplier information can also be enabled and disabled in ESP Online by holding down the ALT key and hitting the 5 key on your keyboard.

4. Q: How do I turn off net cost in ESP Online?

A: Net cost can be disabled in ESP Online by going to the Edit menu and selecting Preferences. On the View tab, there is a “Show Net Cost Information” selection. Click the radio button next to No to hide net cost. If you want to hide the price codes as well, click in the check box on the right of “No”. Net cost can also be enabled and disabled in ESP Online by holding down the ALT key and hitting the 4 key on your keyboard. This will turn off net cost on any printouts from ESP Online as well.

5. Q: Is there an easy way to view and compare my items?

A: Yes. In ESP Online there is a Compare Marked Items feature. This feature allows you to compare the items that you are interested in by list price, net cost, quantity, size, material, production time, rush time, FOB, supplier, and supplier rating. To use the feature, simply marked the items in the search results that you wish to compare. Once you have marked the desired items, click on the Compare button in the toolbar at the top of the page. The Compare feature can be printed or saved as a PDF and e-mailed via the toolbar.

6. Q: Is there a feature on ESPOnline that will allow me to easily request information from the suppliers?

A: In ESP Online there is a feature that allows you to easily request sample and catalog request. From the Product Detail screen, click on Supplier Request and then select the desired request. Once the Print Preview screen appears, you can either print and fax to the supplier or email the request directly from ESP Online. On the Supplier detail screen you can select Supplier Request and then “Catalog Request”.

7. Q: Can I change the logo in the Print feature to my own company logo and add my contact information?

A: Yes. You can easily change the logo and add a custom heading to your printouts from ESP Online. Simply click on the Edit menu and select Preferences, and when Preferences open, click on the “Print” tab. Under Custom Heading, you can add any contact or company information you wish to display at the top of the pages you print. To change you logo, simply click on the “Select” button to the right of Custom Logo and browse to your company logo. Your logo must be in a jpg or bmp format and have a max size of 200 x 200. Once uploaded, click OK at the bottom of the screen to close Preferences.

8. Q: Can I create a presentation that I can easily edit and send to my clients?

A: With ESP Online you can easily create a Centerstage presentation. You can edit the information and then easily send it off to your client.

9. Q: Can I change the logo in the Centerstage feature to my own company logo and add my contact information?

A: Yes, you can easily change the logo and add a custom heading in Centerstage. Simply click on the Edit menu, select Centerstage – New Centerstage. When Preferences open, click on the Header & Footer tab. In the text box at the top left of the screen you can type in your contact or company information. Under this text box, you can select where your header text and logos should appear on your Centerstage presentations. To change your logo, simply click on the “Upload Image” button to browse to your company logo. Your logo must be in a jpg or bmp format. As you add your information and logo, you can see the preview update on the right had of the screen. Click on the Full Page Preview button to see a full size demonstration of your logo and contact information on a Centerstage presentation. Once all your modifications are complete, click on the Save Changes button at the bottom left of the screen to update your Centerstage preferences.

The header logo in Centerstage is as follows:


When the logo is either on the left or right side: 250 W x 108 H
When the logo is centered across the top of the page: 768 W x 108 H
Note: there is a file size limit of 200 KB for the logo

10. Q: How do I install ESP Online onto a different PC?

A: It is very easy to install ESP Online on another computer. On the new PC open up the webpage, www.asicentral.com. Once the page loads, click on Support, and then the ESP Online logo. On the ESP Online Support page, click on the “Access my Account Information or Download ESP Online” link. This will take you to a screen that will ask you for your ASI #, username (email address), and password. Once that information is entered and submitted, you will see a page with all your user information and a link that states, “Click here to download ESP Online”. Click on the download link and follow the installation instructions to load ESP Online.
