Americo Acquires Custom Textile Printing

Americo Manufacturing (asi/35750) announced this week
that it has closed a deal to acquire the assets of Custom Textile Printing
(asi/47966), a manufacturer of custom-designed logo mats that’s based in Dalton,
GA. While financial terms of the
acquisition were not released, Americo said it will
relocate Custom Textile’s assets to Americo’s new
152,000-square-foot facility in Cartersville, GA.
“With this acquisition, we are able to expand our current
product offering and streamline key manufacturing processes,” said David Rones, president of Americo’s PromoMatting division.
For Americo, which is a
family-owned business that was named to Counselor magazine’s Best Places to
Work list this year, this is its third acquisition of a floor mat company
within the past five years. “We will continue to grow, both organically and
through acquisition,” said Rones, “as we capitalize
on our competitive advantage of being vertically integrated.”
Americo, which has about 80
employees, sells its products in all 50 states and in 70 countries worldwide.
The company has been in business for 43 years. |
