Ad-N-Art Acquires Proma Decor Vol. 863
October 27, 2011
Supplier firm Ad-N-Art (asi/31518), which
specializes in drinkware, announced that it has
acquired fellow drinkware supplier Proma Décor. Financial terms of the deal were
not released, but Ad-N-Art says it acquired machinery, equipment and other
assets from Proma Décor.
In growth mode for the past five years, Ad-N-Art, which
services distributors in Canada
and the U.S.,
believes this deal will increase its production capabilities. “We’ll now be
able to increase our capacity and ability to fulfill more orders,” Ben
Petersen, vice president of Ad-N-Art, told Counselor. “This deal gives us five
more stations to produce from, and it will help us to speed up delivery and
offer better service to our customers.”
As part of the deal, one of Proma
Décor’s owners, Mario Maira, will help Ad-N-Art
implement his company’s equipment and technologies, as well as train the
Ad-N-Art employees on the new machines. Ad-N-Art employs between 75 and 100
people depending on the time of year, and it has experienced “double-digit
growth” for each of the past five years, Petersen said. “This acquisition,” he
said, “will definitely help us to meet the growing demand that we’ve had over
the past few years.” |
