Vol. 856
October 4, 2011

As first reported in a Breaking News Alert this morning, Counselor Top 40 distributor Halo Branded Solutions (asi/356000) has acquired Centennial, CO-based distributor Logos Your Way (asi/255444). Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but as part of the deal Logos Your Way’s sales team and key administrative staff will join the Halo organization. “Logos Your Way represents a perfect win-win,” said Marc Simon, CEO of Halo. “We were able to compensate ownership for building a strong business these past 10 years while immediately enhancing our sales presence in key Western markets with innovation and exceptional client relationships.”

Operational and accounting responsibilities for Logos Your Way will now transition to Halo’s Sterling, IL, headquarters, while the company’s Colorado location will remain as a Halo sales office. “The Mountain West is growing, and our business has grown with it,” said Don Robinette, vice president of sales for Logos Your Way. “The additional marketing, sourcing, technology and distribution strength Halo offers will help us serve more customers and serve them more completely, creating additional opportunities for our sales team.”

Overall, Halo’s acquisition of Logos Your Way will add about 30 salespeople and $10 million in revenue to the company’s totals. “Our goal is to continue our growth through strategic partnerships with well-run distributors like Logos Your Way,” said Jim Stutz, executive vice president of business development for Halo.

With $160 million in 2010 North American ad specialty sales, Halo Branded Solutions currently ranks as the sixth-largest distributor in the industry.
