The Display Source Acquires Assets From Clear LDS Vol. 849
September 8, 2011
The Display Source (asi/45447), a Clear Ad Company, a
supplier of brochure holders, business card holders, outdoor information boxes
and more, this week announced the acquisition of assets from Clear LDS. Headquartered in Santa Ana,
CA, The Display Source purchased a line of wall-mounted
literature display systems from the Plantation, FL-based company, which remains
in operation.
The Display Source paid cash for
the line, but financial terms were not disclosed. As a result of the
acquisition, the supplier plans to add three administrative and sales staffers.
Featuring over 60 items, from Tri-Fold to magazine size displays, the newly
acquired line is expected to generate $1.5 million worth of business over the
next year, says Bruce Kelly, vice president of sales and marketing for the The Clear Ad Group of Companies. “It’s a major investment
for us and a major source of income,” Kelly says. “We’re really going to market
this aggressively.”
Frame combinations, table tents,
acrylic displays, wood displays and CD displays are among the other items The
Display Source supplies to the advertising specialty industry. The company has
about 50 employees. |
