Cutter & Buck Opens Canadian Distribution Office

Cutter & Buck (asi/47965) has announced that its parent company, New Wave Group, will be assuming management of the brand as of July 1, and will establish a base of sales operations in a new Toronto showroom office. This comes after Cutter & Buck and Caulfeild Apparel Group Ltd. have agreed to end their Canadian license agreement after 20 years of partnership.

"Caulfeild is our longest international partnership, and they have done a great job in establishing and growing Cutter & Buck in Canada over the years," says Jens Petersson, CEO of Cutter & Buck. "We’re looking to take our business in Canada to the next level, and we feel we can do that best under our own management and that we’ll benefit from the larger infrastructure investment put in place by our parent company."

Promotional products, also known as ad specialties, make up a $20.5 billion dollar industry and are used by virtually every business in America. Why? Items like mugs, pens and t-shirts are memorable and provide a better cost per impression for advertisers than almost every major marketing effort like prime time TV, magazines and radio.

With so many businesses buying ad specialties there is a huge opportunity for professionals looking to make great money running a promotional products distributorship. It’s easy and inexpensive to get started and you can work from home.
