Just
a quick note to let you know how much I loved
working with my coordinator, Kristin Carr,
and the gang over at ASInternet again this
year. They are just fantastic. You know how
neurotic and picky, picky, picky I am, but
the guys stuck with me. They are so patient
through all the last minute changes and the
typeset fixes, through all the minute details.
We came up with a "vision" and they
made it happen. The price is really reasonable
for the amount of time it takes to produce the
site. (Don't go raising my price now.)
The only suggestion I can make
is to let more suppliers know about this service.
I was looking for a product on PromoMart today
and wanted to see the full product line of a
supplier so that I could send one of our customers
to them. I was frustrated to see that they did
not have a web catalogue linked to PromoMart.
I couldn't find the product, although I was pretty
sure they had it, so that supplier missed a sale.

I have
been using ASI for their internet services
for quite a few years. This is an inexpensive
and very good way for suppliers to have a web
page. ASI sets up the entire thing and updates
on a yearly basis for a minimal fee.
We were in a quandary about
having a website because we obviously only
market ourselves to distributors not end
users. With having ASI host our website this
problem is taken care of. There are two sites.
One that distributors can view and send their
customers to and one that can be marketed
to end users. If the end user is interested
in purchasing some product ASI allows him
to find a distributer via the site.
Not only does ASI market their
site extensively (there is a link to the suppliers
site from the ASI site.) but, they register
your company site with all the top search engines
whenever you would like.
There is a not a better bang
for the buck. This is the way to go.

As a
new supplier to the industry, many organizations
contact us with marketing products and services
to market to the 17,000+ Promotional Products
Distributors. ASInternet has been a profitable
decision within our marketing plan. The tremendous
amount of distributors who use ASInternet's
services has made this a great source of business

You asked
me to detail some of the ways we are using
ASInternet services to improve our service
to our customers. They include:
1. While talking with customers,
CSRs are able to direct customers to either
Promomart or our ASI supplier site to provide
instant product information. This eliminates
the need to wait on a mailed catalog, sample,
etc.
2. The CSR is able to give
the distributor information to directly give
to their customers, via www.logomall.com or
www.promomart.com.
3. We are able to see exactly
where our customers are looking for us via
the Hit Report on ASISecure. Our number of
hits has increased 113% since September, 2001.
Our September, 2002 report shows that 29,984
hits were made to our ASI supplier account,
which is almost 5 times more than the average
supplier.
4. By adding product categories
within our Promomart advertising, we have been
able to increase our product exposure within
8 different product categories. We had 5,010
different impressions to our product category
search, which are 3,170 more than we had in
April of this year (in April we added 7 new
product categories). ASInternet is definitely
increasing our product exposure in a very measurable
way.
We really feel that the partnership
is a successful one. Training is the key. The
more we learn about your services, the more
we utilize the tools you make available for
us.
