9 Distributors Win Over $20,000 in Prizes at ASI Show
Orlando
TREVOSE, PA—(January 14, 2005)—$20,000
in prizes were awarded to 9 distributors from thousands
of entries received in the “Passport to Winnings” contests
at The ASI Show Orlando, January 3-5, 2005
at the Orange County Convention Center. Prizes available
in the drawing, now a popular staple of every ASI
Show, include trips to future ASI Shows,
a Caribbean cruise, Apple iPods, Digital Cameras, a
Plasma TV, and the Ultimate Prize, a two year lease
on a Jaguar X-Type Sedan.
Show management began the Passport promotion in 2001
to benefit both attendees and exhibitors. Exhibitors
paid a fee to have their logo included on the entry
form, or “Passport”. Attendees received
the Passport in their badge at registration, and visited
all participating exhibitors to collect “stamps” on
theform. A completed passport not only entered the |

attendee into
the drawing, but also entitled them to free shipping of one
box of catalogs or samples to their office. The winning passports
were chosen at the Closing Celebration immediately following
the close of the show on January 5.
According to Matthew Cohn, president of The ASI Show, “The
popularity of the Passport program continues to grow from
year to year. Participating suppliers experience steadily
busy traffic, and distributors get a chance to learn about
new vendors, earn free shipping or parking, and win some
fun prizes.” Cohn personally announced the winners
at the show.

Cruise or a 42” plasma TV – went to David Gray,
owner of David Gray enterprises, asi/213025. “I’m
very excited,” Gray said when his name was chosen,
adding that he would need to consult with his wife before
choosing his prize.
