Order Status Information
Overview
ASI now accepts order status files sent in from a supplier with the purpose of updating information contained within ESPOnline. This will provide better response times to the distributor as well as reduce time spent on the phone to answer basic order status questions. This document will outline the types of files ASI will accept, the formatting of the files, and how to send the files in to ESPOnline.
File Types
ASI will accept the following types of files:
Comma delimited text document
Tab delimited text document
Excel spreadsheet
Fixed format text document
File Format
Please follow the format guideline table below to set the file up per ESPOnline standards. In the event you cannot follow the listed formatting ASI has the capabilities to format files sent in if needed by the supplier. The file types will still have to match the types listed above. The information that will be updated includes:

*Note – In order to process a status file that has been sent the following fields are required, Distributor ASI Number, Vendor ASI Number and Distributor PO Number.
Orders with Multiple Tracking Numbers
In the event the order(s) you would like updated with status information contains multiple tracking numbers, each tracking number would require its own line in the status file in order to successfully update will all information. In other words if the order has three tracking numbers that order should be listed in the status files three times with each different tracking number.
How to send Status Information
Currently all status update files can be emailed to espstatus@asicentral.com as well as being sent in via FTP server.
