ASI Releases New Features and Enhancements to ESP® Platform


Industry’s most popular research tool now features one-click
presentation download and auto login

TREVOSE, PA - March 18, 2014 - The Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI; www.asicentral.com) today announced over a dozen new features and enhancements to the industry-leading ESP, including user-friendly conveniences like automatic login and presentations with one-click download.

Effective immediately, users can download ESP Presentations to their computer with one-click ease by selecting a download option within the presentation editor tool bar. And users are now always automatically logged in to ASI’s ESP, the industry’s most popular research tool. After users log in once, the system automatically signs them in, eliminating the need for users to remember their username and password, making ESP more user-centric than ever.

ESP’s new login page includes a more modern design and more direct connection to popular how-to articles on ESP in ASI’s 24/7 online Knowledge Base to help users troubleshoot their most common issues.

Every new feature and enhancement in ASI’s latest ESP release is the direct result of user feedback from customers who share their suggestions on ASI products and services during ongoing focus groups and support calls.

New features and enhancements to ESP Web® and ESP Websites™ include:

  • Superior Searching. Users can now narrow search results by multiple suppliers, themes and line names and see up to 500 suppliers in the results filter.
  • Higher Resolution Images. Products and logos look sharper and brighter than ever.
  • More Product Information. On the product detail page, distributors can read comments intended for their eyes only, along with comments from the supplier intended for all audiences.
  • Supplier Line Names. Supplier websites product detail pages now include product line names.

In addition to websites ASI creates for suppliers and distributors, ASI’s flagship ESP is used by over 30,000 distributors to search for suppliers in the ASI network. Over 72% of all product searches in the industry are conducted in ESP, which annually generates over 25 million product and supplier searches and is used by 100% of the Counselor® Top 40.
