Event for Leading Suppliers and Distributors, Headed by Leon Rudolph
TREVOSE, PA – May 6, 2008 - Advertising Specialty Institute®, the largest media and marketing organization serving the advertising specialty industry, announced today the new ASI Business Forum to provide business development opportunities for leading suppliers and distributors.
The event will take place in a resort setting during a two-day period. It will be managed by Leon Rudolph, formerly of industry supplier Bullet Line, whose team of 20 marketing and sales professionals helped the company grow from around $20 million in sales in 1998 to over $70 million by 2007.
Leon started with Bullet Line as its first outside sales person and was promoted through the ranks to vice president of sales and marketing. After Bullet Line’s sale to Polyconcept in 2006, Leon played a vital role in the transition of the management and sales teams, before retiring in March, 2008.
The ASI Business Forum will feature an exclusive opportunity for a select group of suppliers to meet one-on-one with representatives, executives and principals from up to 30 distributor companies.
ASI suppliers who attend will have the opportunity to schedule individual meetings with distributors. They will forge new sales relationships with top prospects, who otherwise might be a challenge to reach, and can visit with current clients.
Distributors will do business with up to 20 key industry suppliers, available to them for perhaps the first time. ASI will cover all travel expenses for participating distributors – hotel and air – to provide a special opportunity to focus on sales activities.
