Innovative ad features will help suppliers grow their businesses
TREVOSE, PA – August 30, 2011 – The Advertising Specialty Institute today announced the addition of new advertising opportunities in ESP Web designed to help suppliers boost sales with trigger marketing and supplier specials.
The added features are a direct result of feedback from supplier members, performance focus groups conducted at every ASI show and analysis of usage patterns.
“At ASI, we use the very latest web marketing strategies to help suppliers promote their products and put their brand in front of distributors, and there’s no better way to increase sales than with trigger marketing,” said Rich Fairfield, ASI’s publisher and executive vice president.
ESP Web’s latest new features include:
- Supplier specials. When a distributor clicks on a product detail page in ESP Web, it triggers the automatic e-mailing of a supplier’s pre-set offer.
- Lucky No. 7. ESP Web now offers pay for placement on the top seven spots in any category.
- Bolder look for top sellers. Suppliers can sell their products exclusively as one of the monthly list of top sellers highlighted by black, bold text. Hover over a top seller listing and see a supplier-selected product image, ASI number and supplier name.

This latest system upgrade will also greatly impact how quickly distributors can service clients, since searching products on ESP is now dramatically faster. Altogether, ASI has added 15 new features and numerous improvements to ESP Web, including simplified user interface and an updated product results screen.
ESP Web improvements follow recent enhancements to ESP Online, the Windows-based version of ESP. ASI supports both ESP Web and ESP Online enhancements and improvements and anticipates further improvements throughout the remainder of this year, into 2012 and beyond.
